EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - demonstration or workshop
The Cultural Craft Group of Partners strives to promote handcrafted craft and art that supports the storyline and history portrayed on the Bonavista Peninsula.
As we continue to showcase our craft industry for our tourism market and building on the success of past festivals, we are organizing another CULTURAL CRAFT FESTIVAL at The Coaker Factory in Port Union, which is perfectly situated between Historic Trinity and Historic Bonavista on the Bonavista Peninsula. This year, festival will coincide with the Bonavista Biennale and will be held over a two-day weekend on August 24 & 25, 2019.
This indoor event has a street festival atmosphere, complete with food and music and will focus on the promotion and creation of quality art & crafts both traditional and contemporary. In this regard, are seeking craft producers & artisans interested in providing craft demonstrations and/or workshops that engage festival goers of all ages. Professional fees based on the CARFAC fee schedule will be negotiated.
